Northern Spy Food Co., a small, farm-to-table style neighborhood restaurant, is hiring for a part-time, front-of-house assistant manager position. Person will be responsible for hosting, supervising service, attending to customer needs, liaison with kitchen and full-time managers, handling cash and closing procedures, and helping with all aspects of service. This is a good position for servers looking to get into management or a person with another part-time restaurant job. Three shifts per week to start (including 1 weekend shift). Strong customer service skills, desire to excel, ability to multitask and be cool under pressure, high standards for the dining experience, and an appreciation for small restaurant quirks are all essential.
