Consequence of Sound: Brooklyn band, The National, to curate “The High Violet Annex” event at 13 E 4th St in May

Taking a page from Wilco, The National will host its very own curated event next month. We just don’t know what exactly it will consist of.

Starting May 11th, the same day its latest LP High Violent is scheduled to hit stores (via 4AD), the Brooklyn outfit will take over the now-vacant space at 13 E 4th St (next to the record store Other Music) in Manhattan’s East Village. Dubbed “The High Violet Annex,” the space will be the site of National curated events throughout the week.
