NYC Dept. of Transportation public meeting on the Bleecker, Houston, Bowery Traffic and Transportation Study bounded by Essex /Avenue A to the east, Mercer Street to the west, E. 5/E. 8 Street to the north and Spring St/Delancey to the south.  The study is to improve traffic circulation and enhance safety for all road users while addressing community concerns. The study will assess traffic and transportation conditions in the area, identify short and long-term safety improvements.  Issues such as land-use, traffic congestion, pedestrian & bike safety, truck activity and accidents will be studied.
