BusinessWeek: David Chang featured in BizWeek on 'Minority Entrepreneurs'

"Everyone says they work hard. You can work harder. You can push yourself to the limit. You have to if you want to succeed. I know you could put more hours in. Whatever you think you can do, you can do more. You can do more and you can do it better. Whatever standard you set, you can exceed your expectations and you can be your harshest critic. If you're going into business for yourself, there's a reason. If you've gone that far, taken that leap of faith, you're sort of crazy, all the odds are against you. There's no reason why just because you're a small business, you can't have the highest standards in whatever you're doing. Don't let size, don't let expectations deter you from excellence. Make mistakes. Everything under the sun I screwed up. Everything, from personnel decisions to cooking to making recipes. Business plans get thrown out the window. It's useless. You have to find ways to harness different skill sets that you never thought you had, and it's going to be the hardest thing you've ever done, no matter what business it is."
