Finally taking off.
Scratch this long-awaited opening off your watch list: Led Zeppole will open tonight. The Coney Island–themed dessert spot from the owners of Artichoke Pizza will sell zeppole (fried dough balls), cannoli, homemade Italian ices, soft serve and fried ice cream among other treats. For now the store will be open from about 6pm to 2am, but hours should be extended soon. 328 E 14th St between First and Second Aves (212-228-2807)
